Paula on CNN AM – How Much Email is Too Much?

A post I wrote for The Juggle, The Wall Street Journal’s blog about the trade-offs people make juggling work and home, got a surprising amount of attention. It was about the downside of marriage by email, and how much is too much when it comes to emailing your spouse during the day.  But what really seems to have pissed people off was my admission that I emailed my husband 21 times in a single day.

21 emails??? I’d hate to be your book editor! Nivi, time to invest in some kinda fancy spam filter.

21 emails and one phone call…how many texts?! p.s. Can you post the image of the inbox?

I debated posting it but I would have to grey out to many other names who didn’t agree to have themselves on a blog that one million people read.

    Great interview!
Jake and I fit into the “when the house is on fire” emailing/calling category. We only contact each other during the day when there’s something important to discuss like meeting at Ruby Tuesday’s or Country Kitchen for dinner.

    Nice to see your faces!

Jus rarely responds to my emails or texts though they don’t ever get into the 20s. Might try the Jeter approach…
